Meet David Prasad

Local Professional Building Inspector

David Prasad joined iSPECT in January 2025.

David provides pre purchase property defect inspections, pest inspections and pool safety barrier inspections.

David is a Building Consultant (Surveyor) with over 30 years experience in the Urban Development, Resource and Construction Sectors.

David specialised in the management of complex survey functions for many private and public sector clients, maintaining strong professional working relationships with many stakeholders in these sectors throughout Australasia and the Pacific Region.

Prior to joining iSPECT, David undertook several key roles at BCE as Victorian State Manager Surveys, including the Pre-Contracts Vicwide Group. David undertook this most recent role, as State Manager since 2022.

David has also held roles as a Planning Engineer with the Golden Plains Shire Council.

David is a Registered Building Practitioner with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) for pool and spa safety barrier inspections, registration number/ADRIN-PS 72297

David has completed extensive training and education and has achieved qualifications in:

• Bachelor of Land Management Conservation and Town Planning,
• Advanced Diploma Building Surveying and
• Diploma in Surveying an GIS
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Frontline Management
• Certificate IV in Building & Construction Building & Construction
